Peelings Are Beneficial

If you eat the apple after peeling it, you remove the nutritious elements of the apple. Eating an apple without peeling it is beneficial for health.


The peelings of an apple contain minerals, vitamins and fibers. It doesn’t contain cholesterol. If you peel an apple, the apple loses its vitamin C. An apple helps in removing body weakness with its iron, arsenic, and phosphorous. Pectin is found in the peelings of the apple which helps in maintaining a low level of cholesterol and blood sugar.

Boil the peelings of an apple in water and then keep the water for cooling. Wash your eyes with the cooled water to get rid of the eyes irritation. The peelings of the juicy fruits like orange and lemon cannot be eaten but these can be used in food preparation. The chemicals present in these fruits lessen the danger of Cancer. Pectin present in these fruits helps in indigestion.
